The Tennessee Farmers Cooperative (TFC) Board of Directors has appointed John Cain as Interim Chief Executive Officer.
The Tennessee Farmers Cooperative (TFC) Board of Directors has appointed John Cain as Interim Chief Executive Officer.

John has served as TFC’s Chief Risk Officer for the past six years and has stepped into the leadership position while the search for a new permanent CEO begins. John has 20 years of experience within the Co-op system.

"We have great confidence in John’s leadership and management abilities,” says TFC Board Chairman Benjie Daniel. “He is dedicated to keeping TFC successful and providing vision for the future.”

John and his wife, Jeannie, reside on a farm in DeKalb County, where they raise beef cattle. The Cains have four children—Amanda, Matthew, Cassie, and William—as well as four grandchildren.

Outside of work and farm chores, John enjoys backpacking and traveling.
